In the SOLIST workflow, lamellae are deposited onto receiver grids and any surface contamination can render a grid square completely unusable for deposition. This forces researchers to divert valuable cryo-FIB time toward manually cleaning each square, creating a significant bottleneck in experimental throughput. By utilising the Clean Station for clipping and sample loading, all grid squares remain pristine, ensuring your FIB is used for lamella milling, not cleaning.
