Junior Production Engineer

We are on the lookout for a new Production Engineer as an expansion to our current Production team. You'll help assemble, test, and improve our products and make sure they are ready to be shipped to our customers worldwide. This is a hands-on role where you will be actually assembling our product working with screws, lenses, mirrors and many more things that make up our product, in our production area. Your role

What you’ll do:

  • Build and test sub-assemblies and systems
  • Write and refine technical assembly/test manuals
  • Optimize production processes where possible
  • Use ERP and JIRA tools to manage workflows and documentation
  • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and engineering teams

What we’re looking for:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in technical assembly and production environments (internship can be included)
  • Living in Delft or surroundings
  • Ready to work hands-on, this is mostly all manual work and not sitting behind a laptop
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and CAD drawings
  • Strong ownership, initiative, and a learning mindset
  • Detail-oriented and a clean, structured approach

What we offer
  • €3.200 - €3.500 gross per month (depending on experience), excluding 8% holiday allowance
  • 30 paid holidays per year
  • Full-time (40 hours per week), but flexible working hours
  • Location: head office in Delft (this job is onsite - working hybrid/remote is not possible in this role)
  • Travel allowance of 0,23 eurocent per kilometer or fully covered public transport costs
  • Free unlimited access to OpenUp
