Purpose of the Job

Currently we are defining a lot when it comes to People & Culture - a great time for you to come in and join Delmic. We are working with a temporary Head of People, to make sure we have our strategic goals aligned with the right P&C processes, and we are looking for the perfect person to turn all these new initiatives into a great execution. This will make you the first to-go-to person for the Delmic team and someone who really lives our culture. Quite an exciting role and we are pretty sure everybody will welcome you with open arms!

  • Taking care of the execution of the employee journey: from onboarding to offboarding, you are the person guiding all managers and employees to make sure things happen and that they happen well. 

  • HR Ops: a big and important part of your job will evolve around taking care of the HR administration and being the first point of contract for questions about salary, mutations and so on. You are super accurate when it comes to this and you enjoy supporting your colleagues by making sure everything is perfectly arranged. 

  • You are the gatekeeper of our culture. From social behavior, to organizing events, to creating engagement with your colleagues.

  • Office management: making sure we offer our colleagues a great place to work where they love to be. Things like lunch etc are arranged, but you are the one in the lead that everything is well arranged. 

  • Topics like employee wellbeing and employee happiness are very important to you. You are in the lead of the execution of all initiatives around this and you decide on the right actions and focus together with the Head of People. 

  • The basics of employee happiness and engagement are in the details: you are detail oriented and you understand that things like contracts and salary payments need to be taken care of in a flawless manner. You will make sure that everything is perfectly arranged when it comes to all the HR administration.

Please note: we would love to have you in the office whenever possible (since this is where the people are), so living close to Delft would be very convenient. Unfortunately we can not offer relocation for this role.

What you offer (skills, expertise, competencies)

  • You have at least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role in a start-up or scale-up environment; 
  • You recognise yourself in the (short, but still) description of our company culture; 
  • You are self-starting and highly proactive;
  • You are a joy to work with - you bring a great vibe in the office and you love helping people and putting smiles on their faces. 
  • You are very detail-oriented and have a lot of experience with administrative (HR) tasks; 
  • You are a great stakeholder that can align with different people with different perspectives;
  • You are an excellent communicator in English, both written and verbal.
